Innviertler Pulled Apple Strudel
250g all-purpose flour 3/16 l warm water 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 teaspoon fine sea salt For the filling: 150g breadcrumbs 1kg apples 3 tablespoons olive oil Knead the flour with salt, olive oil, and water into a smooth dough, cover the dough and let it rest. In the meantime, peel the apples and cut them into small pieces. Roast the breadcrumbs in olive oil. Roll out the dough very thinly on a floured kitchen towel. You should be able to read a newspaper through the dough. Brush the dough with some olive oil. Spread the roasted breadcrumbs on it, add the apple pieces, and season to taste with Apple Strudel Spice. Roll up the dough, brush it with a beaten egg, and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 45 minutes.
